OUR WORK– For more than 16 years, Edelman Productions has been the leading San Francisco-based supplier of series television to national cable networks HGTV, History Channel, Travel Channel, diy and Food Network.
Having sold much of the company to key staff creatives, Edelman still maintains an active production office and fully outfitted production and post facility in San Francisco’s Presidio, also the home of George Lucas’s new production complex, and adjacent to the Golden Gate Bridge.
OUR PRODUCTIONS: Edelman has produced thousands of half hours and over 150 hours of series and specials.
Best known series include:
For HGTV: Designed to Sell, Curb Appeal, Color Splash, Real Estate Intervention
For Travel Channel: The Relic Hunter (Winner of a National Emmy, 2009)
For History Channel: Tactical to Practical, Man Moment Machine
For diy: Bathtastic, Kitchen Renovations
For Food Network: Ultimate Kitchens
OUR HISTORY– Until 2009, Edelman Productions had over 150 employees and permanent offices in four cities: Minneapolis, San Francisco, Atlanta and Washington, DC.
In that year, Steve decided to sell most of San Francisco enterprise to Mila Holt, a key creative producer, and her producer/director/businessman/ husband Tyler Johnson, who then started Johlt Productions, based in the East Bay city of Emeryville, California.
Steve sold the Minneapolis-based enterprise to key creative producer John Kitchener who started Magnetic Productions. Both Johlt and Magnetic continue to thrive as Edelman continues with his boutique enterprise in San Francisco.
