Designer Karen McAloon helps homeowners make over rooms for almost no money.
By rummmaging, remixing, and re-painting, the Design Remix team works WITH the
homeowners to transform dull spaces into fabulous new rooms..almost for free.
In the first episode, Karen creates an eclectic-hip guest room under the eaves
out of a messy storage area. Karen and the team use wood the homeowners already
have to build a sleek, modern bed.
They create a picket fence room divider, made out of fencing from the basement, and they decoupage great looking art from old tobacco posters and the homeowner's vintage matchbook collection. It's an entertaining, informative, reality half-hour, that shows how much you can do with the things you already have!

floral and landscape design, interior design and event planning.
