Home Transformations

show description:
Home Transformations features homeowners whose lives have evolved and who are now looking for ways to update their home to reflect their new circumstances. New room for baby, fitness center, home office, larger deck--these are the kind of projects we'll be tackling.

Projects range from one episode makeovers to complete remodels over four episodes. Each project will feature the homeowners themselves doing the project, working alongside our expert host, Michael Ray Wisely. Home Transformations offers viewers detailed step-by-step instructions along with tips and shortcuts, and will feature the latest products and tools. New product information helps give our DIY shows cutting edge appeal.

about the host:
When Michael Ray Wisely was nine years old his father put an arc-welding electrode in his hand and began teaching him many skills and a solid work ethic that continues to serve him today. Michael Ray Wisely has been a radio announcer, an electronics technician for the U.S. Air Force, and a master carpenter for theatre, television news sets and custom home cabinetry. For the past 15 years, Michael Ray Wisely has also had a successful career as an actor and director for over 15 years. During his acting career, he has continued to challenge his wood working skills by caretaking two classic antique wooden boats - an experience that's giving him a valuable perspective on preservation and restoration techniques. "Being the host of Home Transformations," Michael Ray says, "I get to meet new people who are making changes in their living space that reflect the unique personal transformations in their lives. And it's rewarding to me to be able pass on knowledge from the mentors and craftsman I've had the fortune to work with." Michael Ray Wisely is also a devoted husband and father to his wife Wendy and his daughter Olivia.
